Sometimes on our day trips and overnight trips we see dolphins. For some reason it seems to happen when we finish surfing. Very blessed.

We took Strike, our charter vessel to be, out to Desert Point for a sea trial with friends. Speed run, perfect lines, cooking waves.

Went and checked our El Dorado, a 60ft strike mission vessel we are considering acquiring to run charters on.

So far, everything checks out. Captain and current owner are both legends. Taking it for a sea trial tomorrow. Crossing the Wallace line.

Freesurf Federation — as an international collective of riders, coaches and industry professionals — has been invited by a major Hong Kong developer to advise on the governance of surfing across the city's beaches. The brief is broad: bring the grassroots into the room, work with the public and the surfers who actually use these breaks, and shape a framework where surf culture and the professional sport can coexist with the ocean as a public good.

Our position is simple. Access stays public. Local voices lead. Any new infrastructure must serve the lineup before it serves anything else. We're backing the community-led proposal at bigwavebay.org and helping translate it into a governance model that protects the wave, the beach and the people who ride it.
